how to register?

FULL PASSES ticket sale now is open! Party pass sale coming later.

To register for Why Not Aarhus Lindy Exchange, you will have to follow these steps:

  1. Go to Nemtilmeld or click on the purchase button below.

  2. Select your pass.

    • You may add ‘products’ to your ticket such as Why Not/Aarhus Lindy Hoppers Merchandise including T-shirts, tote bags and fans and food options. More information coming in the following months - keep an eye on Facebook announcements. For now, we only sell tickets.

  3. Proceed with the payment by following the instructions. It is not possible to reserve a ticket/product even if the system allows you to.

  4. After completed payment, you will receive a confirmation email - this is your ticket. Please have your confirmation email (phone or print) and your full name ready for check-in.

    • If you did not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam filter and please add whynotlindyhop@gmail.com and aarhuslindyhoppers@gmail.com to your email contacts. This will help ensure that you receive all future emails about the event from us. You will receive our full information guide via email when we get closer to the event.

Ticket information:

The Full Pass gives you access to the whole Why Not Lindy exchange from Friday to Sunday including all the taster classes, all daytime activities, the Friday party, the Saturday party and the cool down Sunday. 

  • Early Bird Full Pass (750 DKK). Early Bird ticket sale starts from March 27th, 7PM. SOLD OUT

  • Full Pass (Lead or Follow) (900 DKK). Ticket sale starts from March 27th, 7PM.

  • Party Pass - more information coming soon. We advice to get Full Pass to get full experience of Why Not Aarhus Lindy Exchange.

All passes are personal and should not be shared between dancers.

The normal-priced full passes will be available simultaneously, so feel free to choose the pass/price that fits you best (of course, only until the early birds are sold out). 

Refund Policy:

In General

Aarhus Lindy Hoppers has a no refund policy. We do not offer any refunds for purchased passes or additional products, and the pass cannot be transferred to future events.

It is, however, allowed to transfer your pass to someone else, so you are free to give or sell it to another dancer. Please see below.

Covid-19 Cancellation

In case of a Covid-19 cancellation, refunds will be possible. A Covid-19 cancellation may occur either due to regulations from the Danish Authorities or if the Why Not organizers deem it irresponsible to go through with the event as a whole. Program alterations or the introduction of certain conduct requirements is not considered as a cancellation.

NB: During dance events, many people are gathered and engaging in close contact, which generally entails an increased risk of contagion in swing dance communities - also known as the “lindy flu” in everyday language. Such a risk has always been present and is perhaps even bigger during these times of the Corona virus. Please be informed that participation in Why Not Aarhus Lindy Exchange is at your own risk and should be in agreement with the above conditions.


How do I transfer my ticket

If you cannot join our event after all, you are free to transfer your ticket to someone else. If you do so, please

  1. contact us on whynotlindyhop@gmail.com with the full name of both the original and new pass holder, and

  2. forward your confirmation email to the new owner. They will need it for check-in. The buyer need to have the same role as you (lead/follow).

Aarhus Lindy Hoppers does not take responsibility nor part in any transaction related to the ticket transfer but is solely responsible for changing the name of the pass holder in our internal system used during check-in.

It is also possible to resell your ticket to someone on the waiting list - please contact us at whynotlindyhop@gmail.com.

Last chance to resell the ticket is the 20th of September 2024.

BE AWARE OF SCAM

Take extra precaution if you want to buy your ticket from someone else! In recent years, Lindy Hop events globally have experienced a growing number of scam cases. If you do not personally know the person from whom you are buying the ticket, we kindly ask you to send us an e-mail to whynotlindyhop@gmail.com. We will gladly check it for you if a ticket exists in the sellers’ name and/or if it has already been transferred to someone else.

Please be aware that the only official place of purchase is via Nemtilmeld. Why Not Aarhus Lindy Exchange does not use Paypal or any other payment system except the gateway platform provided by Nemtilmeld.
